Lorie

Lorie Dillon

Chief Executive Officer

Lorie has served as chief executive officer at Geisinger HealthSouth for the past 14 years. Prior to her current position, she practiced as a certified speech/language pathologist for 17 years after graduating from Penn State University with a master’s degree in communication disorders. Lorie’s previous experience includes serving as the neurological program director and director of the speech department at HealthSouth Mechanicsburg, and operating a private practice in Connecticut and New York states. Lorie is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (PARF), the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania and numerous community organizations.

Dr. Burke

Greg Burke, M.D.

Medical Director

After serving as interim medical director for a year, Dr. Burke was officially named as medical director at Geisinger HealthSouth in April 2007. In addition, he is also the medical director at the Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Dr. Burke has an interest in bio-ethics and has published several articles that address physician ethics and spirituality as it relates to medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an associate in the General Internal Medicine Department at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Burke holds degrees from the University of Scranton and the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

Greg Burke, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.

Alexander

Scott Alexander, MPT

Stroke Program Coordinator

Scott began working for Geisinger HealthSouth in the fall of 2006 and is currently the stroke program coordinator at Geisinger HealthSouth. He is also a Certified Neurological Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy. Scott has been recognized three times with the outstanding employee award and was the inpatient therapist of the year for 2009. Scott graduated from Lock Haven University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 2003 and from Gannon University with his master of physical therapy degree in 2005.

Patrick

Patrick Barry, MPT

Director of Therapy Operations

Patrick Barry began his career with Geisinger HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in 2005 as an outpatient staff physical therapist. Since his start, he progressed into new opportunities with the hospital. In January 2007 he became the site coordinator of the largest outpatient site in the Geisinger HealthSouth system. Then, in December 2010 he became the director of outpatient operations. Lastly, he was promoted in July of 2013 as the director of therapy operations for the Geisinger HealthSouth system overseeing inpatient, outpatient and acute care therapy operations. Patrick received his doctor of physical therapy from the University of Scranton in 2013.

Conklin

Jacqueline Conklin

Director of Quality and Risk Management

Jacqui joined the leadership team at Geisinger HealthSouth in early 2014 as the director of quality and risk management. Jacqui is a familiar face as she previously shared her talents with the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of York, Pa.  Dedicated to hospital performance improvement, Jacqui brings more than 30 years of diverse healthcare management experience including acute, long term and rehabilitative care; she works with all hospital staff to continuously improve the patient experience.

Gruver

Gregory Gruver

Facilities Manager

Greg joined Geisinger HealthSouth in April 2010 bringing with him 25 years of emergency services experience and 15 years of management experience. Greg has an associate degree from Penn College and also serves as safety officer for the rehab hospital.

Matthew Hoehn

Matthew Hoehn, MS, OTR/L

Parkinson's Disease Program Coordinator

Matthew is a 2007 graduate of Thomas Jefferson University with a master's degree in occupational therapy. He brings five years of experience combining acute care and rehabilitation in his background. Matthew began his tenure with the Geisinger HealthSouth team in the fall of 2011, joined the Parkinson's team in the fall of 2012 and assumed oversight of the Parkinson's Program in January of 2013.

Lillian Klitsch

Lillian Klitsch, RN, BSN, MSN

Chief Nursing Officer

Lillian brings 26 years of nursing and nursing management experience in telemetry and ICU acute care environments. Most recently serving as the chief nursing officer in a long term acute care facility, Lillian joined the Geisinger HealthSouth leadership team in September of 2014. She holds a diploma in nursing from Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic, bachelor's degree in nursing from Western Governors University and a master's degree in nursing leadership and management from Western Governors University.

Koblick

Jessica Koblick

Director of Case Management

Jessica has been the director of case management for Geisinger HealthSouth since April 2011 having previously served as a case manager since 2008. Jessica and her case management team work closely with the interdisciplinary team and a team of rehabilitation physiatrists to focus on getting patients back home with the services they need so that they can gain back their quality of life. She brings 10 years of case management skills to Geisinger HealthSouth. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in women's studies from Bloomsburg University.

Wilk

Amy L. Monroe, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIS

Brain Injury Program Coordinator, Speech Therapy Team Leader

Amy has been with Geisinger HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital for more than six years. She is certified as both a brain injury specialist and a Vital Stim provider. She is currently looking to pursue a Board Recognized Specialist – Swallowing certification (BRS-S). Amy holds a master’s degree in speech language pathology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Nancy

Nancy Presswood

Director of Marketing Operations

Nancy brings more than 15 years of healthcare marketing experience to Geisinger HealthSouth. Her prior experience includes heading up VNA Private Duty, a home health services agency and the director of community and governmental relations at Shamokin Area Community Hospital, where she also served as an in-house trainer in performance improvement. Originally from New York, Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

Chris

Chris Shirley

Human Resources Director

Chris joined the Geisinger HealthSouth senior management team in 2003. She is a veteran in human resources, having worked in the field since 1988 and in human resources management since 1994. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Prior to beginning her career, Chris attended Williamsport Area Community College (WACC) in the business management program.

Jennifer Strocko

Jennifer is the newest addition to the senior management team at the helm of Geisinger HealthSouth. Her journey in the financial world of acute inpatient rehabilitation began in February of 2016 after spending 16 years working for our joint venture partner. Jennifer brings significant healthcare experience in financial accounting management, budgeting, forecasting and internal audit and is excited to contribute to the success of Geisinger HealthSouth. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Susquehanna University.
